Liquid Castile - Uses Guide

Washing Hands

The traditional first thought when it comes to castile soap, it is a great hand wash and you would be right!

You can use this incredible soap as it comes just a few drops on your hands, lather and rinse clean.

If you prefer a foaming soap you can dilute into a foaming dispenser up to a ratio of 50/50 (50% soap, 50% water) or as little as 30/70 (30% soap, 70% water).

But that's not all
it's good for...

Feel the difference... a perfectly balanced castile soap.

All castile soaps are not equal, the choice and balance of oils used define the quality of the soap, finding a balance between cleansing and moisturizing is difficult to hit. The oil choice also makes a difference with regards to how nourishing the soap is. Finally castile soap is typically very thin, having established the perfect balance between the ideal selection of oils, we improve the cleansing, thickness and suds by adding an Eco-cert, naturally plant derived, baby safe ingredient called decyl glucoside.

You will feel the difference on your hands, body & hair.. feeling clean, soft and nourished.

Hair & body wash

Using synthetic soap can leave your hands feeling dry, sore and under nourished. In the process of cleansing, the harsh chemicals strip your body of natural oils. So it’s easy to understand why your first thought might

not be “let’s use this liquid soap on my body and hair”.

The great news is that castile soap in general, and our castile soap in particular is an incredible body and hair wash. Cleansing without stripping, this soap is a fantastic all over body product, winning rave reviews from our customers. Our castile is so popular it is widely used by premium hotels and B&B’s.

Apply a few drops at a time using your hands (a little goes a long way), until you find what works for you, then rinse off!

Naturally bio-degradable, our castile soap won't leave a stain on the environment!

…just like our 230, 473 & 944 ml bottles which are all manufactured from 100% recycled post-consumer plastic *

So castile, won't be tough enough on grease to wash the pots... right?

Wrong...

Washing the pots!

Whilst castile soap isn’t as aggressive on grease as commercial dish liquid, it is a fantastic natural grease cutter, it’s also great at removing dirt and bacteria.

Our castile can be used in your kitchen at home, or why not take it with you camping… 1 bottle for cleaning your hands, body, hair, pots, pans and surfaces.

For washing pots use a few drops on a sponge, and repeat as needed.

For cleaning surfaces, apply a few drops to the surface,  spread with a clean wet cloth and rinse down.

Switching to natural deodorant

Conventional deodorant and especially antiperspirants are known to block pores, in the case of antiperspirants aluminum is typically used to block the sweat ducts.
Initially when moving to a natural deodorant, you can find for the first few days that you seem to sweat more, this is due to the pores slowly unclogging from the commercial antiperspirants.

Once the detox period is completed you should find that your body adjusts and our natural deodorant keeps your underarm dry and fresh. The great news is that in our experience our natural deodorant works better the longer you use it.

Using the natural deodorant

Ensure that your under arm is clean and dry.
The deodorant applys best when warm, apply the stick to your under arm, allow to warm for a few seconds then apply a small amount with a single glide, repeat just once more if needed.
Applying too much will reduce effectiveness, and possibly result in staining on clothing. Trying to apply without warming can causing irritation due to the drag.
